Chitwan National Park is the first established National Park of Nepal in 1973 which lies in Sauraha. It is 155 KM far from Kathmandu on south-central of Nepal. In 1984 it was registered in UNESCO World Heritage Site and it covers 932 sq. KM.
This area is very famous for wildlife, rare wild animals, flora-fauna etc. Here we would like to list some species:
Mammals: Bengal tiger, Leopards, Rhinoceros, Golden jackals, Fishing cats, Jungle cats, Leopard cats, Large and small Indian civets, Asian palm civets, Crab-eating mongooses and yellow-throated martens etc.
Birds: Egrets, Bitterns, Storks, Kingfishers, Lesser adjutant, Grey-crowned prinia, Swamp francolin etc.
To know about the wild and nature people mostly visit Chitwan. People can go there by 5-6 hours bus or 25 minutes flight. On your arrival our representative will come to pick up you and take for your packages. So be ready..
