Champadevi ( 2278 Mt)
Champadevi ( 2278 Mt) is the highest peak on the Chandragiri Ridge in the southern hill surrounding Kathmandu. It’s a easy and interesting day hike through which you could see the magnificent views of the Himalayan Ranges with clear views of Langtang, Gaurishankar ,Jugal,Dorje Lakpa etc. Champadevi hiking which starts from the Pharping village, which have many important Buddhist shrines Like Bajrayogini , Padmashambhava Cave and many Tibetan Monastery and Shesh Narayan Temple on the way . As you start your hike trails leads to pine forested area and will gradually ascent to the top will take you about three hours time .As you hike up to the top you will find a Buddhist stupa and Hindu shrine and down below you can see the Kathmandu settlements,on the way you can see the green vegetation and many birds species too.For Champadevi hike we will travel along the southern part of the Kathmandu passing through the villages Chobhar and Kirtipur an Newari city .
7.00Am : After breakfast your tour guide will arrive at your hotel and drive to the Pharping about 23 km about an hour .
8.00 Am : After arriving Pharping we will make a short tour visiting a Bajrayogini Temple , Padmashambhava cave and hike to the top of the Champadevi for about 3 hours .
11.30 Am : Champadevi ascent and view the surrounding hills with a magnificent view of the Himalayan Ranges and city settlements .
3.45 Pm : After the magnificent views we will descent to the Pharping village .
4.30 Pm : We will head back to Kathmandu by our private vehicle and drop you at the hotel.
